Fashion Showdown: Rekha vs. Rihanna

I have long been a fan of Rekha's over the top fashions in Khoon Bhari Maang which i reviewed a few months back, imagine my surprise when i saw pop star Rihanna a few weeks ago wearing the same scarf over your head outfit with sunglasses almost exactly as Rekha had hers in Khoon Bhari Maang. So who do you think wore it best

    Rekha wins by default for me just because I hate Rihanna's sunglasses...plus I'm probably a bit biased since I love Rekha and her amazingly gorgeous face :D.

    indeed everyone i would have gone for Rekha myself mostly because she wore it 20 years earlier with just as much attitude

    @ Richard S i do indeed see the similarity with m.i.a its mostly because of the shades

    Rekha rocks it! Great post bhai.
    :) I saw Khoon Bhari Maang on TV while visiting India last Jan. and without subtitles, so I'd forgotten I wanted to see it with subtitles, but I do remember being able to follow it pretty easily, since it was so over the top. I'll have to check your review. :)

    Everything old is fugly again! :) I give it to Rekha for three reasons: 1) she did it first and, as you say, with just as much attitude, 2) she's using an actual color, which I almost always appreciate over black, and 3) her lip gloss is shinier.
