I love Asha Bhonsle's vocals on this song and the way Kishore Kumar's vocals compliments hers, it definitely sounds romantic and scintillating and i guess i'll just have to buy this dvd on my next shopping trip. Its almost the end of the year and i'm yet to watch over 30 dvds but i've still kept my resolution of not buying any more dvds till i finish watching all that I have at home
thanks for the lovely song. Will be waiting for your next review :)
ReplyDeleteThe classics, the classics!
ReplyDeleteHeeheee loved the title and I immediately thought Bollywooddeewana must be updating his status in the Masala Pradesh! I loved asha's voice in this and I'll be awaiting your reviews soon!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you're still zinda! :-)
ReplyDeleteIn the song, Hema's character is confessing to Dev Anand how much she loves him. She's saying that he's robbed her of sleep at night: she is so obsessed with him, every limb is aflame (okay, I know this sounds silly!!) and she's in deep pain - yet, still, he refuses to accept that he loves her too. The chorus he sings is to the effect that he'll give her his heart tomorrow - there's no hurry.
@ Sharmi Thanks, i've missed the blogosphere :0)
ReplyDelete@ Juze Yes i know right, lots more coming on the way :0)
Thanks Rum, i though i'd hone in ;)
@ Dusted off Thanks a lot for the treanslation, indeed it sounds silly for every limb to be aflame but not impossible 'yeh ishq nahin aasaan'
