Main Zinda Hoon

Its been a while, hence the title 'main zinda hoon' (I'm still alive). I hope to be back later today or early tomorrow for a movie review, till then here's a song that's been going on in my head 'neend Churake baton mein' (i don't know what it means, but it'll be very much appreciated if anyone can provide a brief translation) from 'Shareef Badmaash' (1973).

I love Asha Bhonsle's vocals on this song and the way Kishore Kumar's vocals compliments hers, it definitely sounds romantic and scintillating and i guess i'll just have to buy this dvd on my next shopping trip. Its almost the end of the year and i'm yet to watch over 30 dvds but i've still kept my resolution of not buying any more dvds till i finish watching all that I have at home

I'm so glad you're still zinda! :-)

In the song, Hema's character is confessing to Dev Anand how much she loves him. She's saying that he's robbed her of sleep at night: she is so obsessed with him, every limb is aflame (okay, I know this sounds silly!!) and she's in deep pain - yet, still, he refuses to accept that he loves her too. The chorus he sings is to the effect that he'll give her his heart tomorrow - there's no hurry.
