>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jeetendra in the Hit 1967 Spy thriller Farz
Jeetendra how i love thee, Happy 67th birthday to you. Often described by many as overacting, Jeetendra always exuded so much charisma on Screen, and with a career spanning almost five decades, Jeetendra is one of Hindi cinema's greatest stars. From his stylish mod looks in the '60s with hits like Farz to his costume get ups in classic '70's masala like Dharamveer to his back to back super hits in the '80's such as Aasha, Jyoti Bane jwala, Meri aawaz suno, Farz aur Kanoon and bollywood remakes of Southern movies often with SriDevi & Jaya Prada. Jeetendra was undoubtedly one of, if not the box office King of the '80's. He rarely acts these days but his son Tusshar Kapoor who can be seen in comedies such as Golmaal Returns & Kya Kool hai hum is now an acclaimed actor in bollywood. To celebrate his 67th i 've included 6 of my favourite Jeetendra picturisations
6. Nainon Mein Sapna from Himmatwala (1983) This catchy song from one of his superhit films from the '80's never ceases to amaze me, from the wonderful costumes to the colourful clay pots and colourful dusters, i love it all.
5. Dhal gaya dil from Humjoli (1973) This picturization was the inspiration to the Badminton scene in the Dhoom tana song from 'Om shanti om'
4. Tere haathon mein from Jaani Dushamn (1979) I love this song so much, i could listen to it all day, i also love the Neetu/Jeetendra Jodi (couple)
3. Saat Ajoobe is duniya mein from Dharam Veer (1977) I really enjoyed the Jeetendra/Dharmendra (the ends of their names even rhyme..lol) Jodi in this movie + i totally love this song
2. Aashon ke sawan mein from Aasha (1980) I love this movie and i love
this song, i really love Reena Roy and both of them starred in a number of
suceessful films in the 70's/80's
1. Kitna pyaara vaada from Caravan (1971) If you haven't watched any
of the videos on the list be sure to watch this one and see how graceful
Jeetendra is, i loved his dancing in this one, Jeetendra forever.
God bless you Jeetendra and i wish you many more happy years to come

I love Tere haathon mein, too! Its such a peppy number and so well picturised. Am not a big Jeetendra fan but I like his 60s and 70s stuff - especially all the movies he did with Gulzar.
Our "Jumping Jack" is one of a kind! That badminton song is a classic all the way! We should try that in the courts..what say!? :D
@ bollyviewer, yeah i agree, i really love his 60's & 70's films + his style was amazing especially in the '60's. Some of his '80's & early '90's stuff are quite good as well
@ Bhargav that badminton song is so creative and fun, i don't think we'd look as sleek and stylish as they did if we tried to recreate it :0)
Happy Birthday! I will always remember him from Maa. Love that movie.
I've never heard of Maa before, but i'll look it up
